Why we built Arca

Financial software is uniquely demanding. Every operation must be atomic. Every state change must be traceable. Balances must always add up. And when things go wrong, you need to know exactly what happened and why.

Most teams building financial applications end up reinventing the same primitives: ledgers, balance tracking, operation idempotency, audit trails, and settlement workflows. We built Arca so you don't have to.

What Arca provides

Hierarchical objects with path-based identity. Organize your financial entities — accounts, wallets, portfolios — in a human-readable path hierarchy. Every object has a clear address like /users/alice/wallet instead of an opaque UUID.

Atomic operations with full traceability. Every mutation flows through an operation that produces events and state deltas. You get a complete audit trail out of the box, with the correlation spine linking every change back to its origin.

Real-time state streaming. Subscribe to operations and events as they happen via SSE. Build reactive dashboards, notifications, and workflows without polling.

Exchange integration. Manage perpetual futures positions across venues with unified state tracking, bilateral settlement, and automated reconciliation.

Developer-first tooling. REST API, TypeScript SDK, and CLI — all with comprehensive documentation. Build against real endpoints in our developer preview environment.
